“Oddly Eatery” is a conceptual project created in my fourth year at the Wilson School of Design to explore restaurant branding through bold colour and humour.

Oddly Eatery is a 24 hour diner imagined to serve food combinations some may call strange but we call down right delightful. Inspired by our furry friend (goat, left) who is down to eat anything, Oddly Eatery encourages diners to take a soul trip of the taste buds every time they sit down.

Oddly's audience targets Vancouver Foodies aged 18-35 who are always looking for the latest fun spot, and who don't take their nights (or days) on the town for granted.

Oddly's voice through all touch points is nothing but welcoming, and this welcoming nature extends beyond funny quips on the menus. Oddly aims to assist in the community, recognizing that not all Vancouverite's have the privilege to enjoy a meal out whenever they want. For this reason, on Oddly's physical and mobile menu they offer an option to diners to give a meal to those who need it.

After working for most of my degree on projects with intense subject matter, it was a great experience to flex my bold-colour-choice muscles and design something quirky and fun.
